Ivy Edad is a Filipinx non-binary poet born in Manila, Philippines. In 2014, they moved to Turtle Island and are currently based in the unceded territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-waututh nations.
Ivy has performed on stages across Canada as “ruthless” including the finals of Canadian Festival of Spoken Word in 2019 as part of Kwantlen Poetry Project. Their work can be found in pulpMAG, For Women Who Roar, and various other publications.
Ivy attributes their relationship to words with an indecisive lover. They write to make words love them back, and revels in the rejection they constantly receive.
