Daniyah

Daniyah, aka DJ ANGLE, is everyone’s favourite shitdisturber. more tenacious than horseradish, she has spent years in activist and nightlife communities contributing to frameworks of accountability and diversity in operations for organizations, coorganizing dance parties and festivals with harm reduction, intersectional representation, and equity as foundational values, cocreating peer supported learning spaces to build activism within the arts, organizing direct actions challenging white supremacy, engaging radical folks in creative ways, or simply taking initiative to shovel the icy sidewalks in their neighbourhood where city and transit services fail. You can find DJ ANGLE collecting white tears on the internet, emotionally labouring to support the growth of their friends and community, volunteering with KARMIK in nightlife harm reduction and the Verses Festival of Words as an Active Listener, peer training naloxone sessions through towardtheheart.com working events in the TBLGQ2S+ community, and directing events with the Diversity project and Populous Map.
